La Cité de la Voix has opened applications for its 2027 “Young Ensembles” summer residencies. Applications must be submitted by 11 October 2026.
Each summer, the scheme gives young professional ensembles the opportunity to combine an artistic residency with concerts and professional development support, while gaining valuable exposure to audiences. The selected ensembles perform notably beneath the vaults of the Basilica of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine and in the gardens of La Cité as part of the “Quotidiennes” series.
The programme goes beyond a simple working residency: musicians are given the opportunity to develop a range of programmes and perform for varied audiences, while also receiving support with communications. In 2026, four ensembles were each hosted for a week, with daily concerts as well as opportunities to rehearse and record in La Cité’s facilities.
Applications are open to emerging young ensembles for summer 2027. A valuable opportunity to refine an artistic project in one of France’s leading centres for vocal music, while gaining stage experience and professional visibility.
