The 24th edition of the Montréal Baroque Festival invites you – in a highly original way – to experience music differently, with some twenty events taking place in Old Montréal and the Quartier des Spectacles. From 18 to 21 June, the Festival presents a programme in which works from the 17th and 18th centuries appeal not only to the ear, but to the whole body. Among the unmissable events, Le Triomphe des sens will bring dance to the heart of the Baroque experience. Telemann gourmand will invite the public to a dessert concert, whilst the Effluves londoniens concert will showcase the next generation of Quebec talent. The Festival will also offer valuable opportunities for sharing and learning through the Montreal Baroque Parade, the Baroque Lab and a masterclass dedicated to performance on period instruments. This year, Montréal Baroque 2026 will bring together leading figures in early music: renowned Quebec musicians, as well as several artists from the international scene. The audience will be treated to performances by Charles Daniels, Olivier Brault, Luc Beauséjour, Chris Norman and Jadran Duncumb, alongside leading ensembles such as Les Voix humaines, L’Harmonie des saisons, Ensemble Caprice, Pallade Musica, the Bande Montréal Baroque, and the young musicians of TwistedPearl and Ensemble Comtessa.
