March 21, 2026 marks the 14th edition of the International Early Music Day. Total Baroque Magazine joins this initiative launched by the European Early Music Network (REMA), organized on the day of the spring equinox, which also corresponds to Johann Sebastian Bach’s anniversary. Its aim is to celebrate early music as an essential element of European culture. Discover twelve concerts, filmed in twelve emblematic venues across Europe—from Versailles to Venice—available free of charge in full video.

Early music in Europe represents more than a millennium of musical heritage and practice that brings us together, from the invention of Gregorian chant to the living community of enthusiasts in the twenty-first century. Each week, our magazine helps tell this story while highlighting the dynamism of the young ensembles that are multiplying across European countries and beyond. The International Day on March 21 is an opportunity for us to offer you this selection of early and baroque music concerts. Enjoy the viewing!
