York Early Music Christmas Festival – Christmas is coming!

It’s never too early to start preparing for Christmas! With this in mind, the York Early Music Christmas Festival has already announced its programme for next Christmas.

Created in 1997 by The National Centre for Early Music (NCEM), this festival aims to introduce audiences to the diversity of music associated with Advent, the festive season and Epiphany, from medieval to baroque, interwoven with sagas, stories and tales from the North. The 2025 edition will take place from Friday 5 to Sunday 14 December. The thirteen concerts on the programme feature music from all origins, performed by musicians of the new generation, such as the talented ensemble Apollo’s Cabinet, which will kick off the festival. Tickets are, of course, already available!
