Tribute to Denis Raisin Dadre: a Doulce Mémoire concert in Ambronay

→Tribute to Denis Raisin Dadre, who passed away this week. His ensemble Doulce Mémoire revisited Renaissance music at the Ambronay Festival.

Total Baroque Magazine wishes to pay tribute to Denis Raisin Dadre, who passed away this week at the age of 69. A musicologist and conductor, he was a central figure in France for the study and performance of Renaissance music, above all with his ensemble Doulce Mémoire, which he founded in 1990. We present here the filmed concert Renaissance Splendours, given by the ensemble together with the Chantres de l’Abbaye royale de Saint-Riquier at the Ambronay Festival in 2017.
