Thérésia Orchestra (Italy) : Call for Applications for Study Grants (July 25 – July 27)

The Italian foundation ICONS is launching a competition for the awarding of Study Grants, aimed at musicians wishing to join Theresia Orchestra and participate in its educational activities for the period July 2025 – July 2027.

These Study Grants enable recipients to take part in Theresia Orchestra’s artistic and educational residencies throughout the specified period.

Each grant includes:

Participation in Theresia Orchestra’s artistic and educational activities, including:
- Orchestral residencies
- Chamber music academies
- Specialized workshops
  These programs are designed to enhance the interpretation of symphonic and chamber music repertoire from the Classical era on period instruments.
Participation in concerts and recordings scheduled at the conclusion of each orchestral residency and chamber music academy.
Involvement in Theresia Academy’s educational activities.

Career Opportunities

Musicians who demonstrate exceptional artistic merit during their training period may be invited, at the discretion of the Artistic Direction, to:

Join the professional Concerto Theresia orchestra, reserved for alumni.
Take on a tutoring role and/or lead a section (concertmaster).
Receive a professional contract for at least one year within Theresia Orchestra.
