The 6th edition of the Mathieu-Duguay Early Music Competition will take place as part of the next Lamèque International Baroque Music Festival (Canada) from 24 to 26 July 2025. Aimed at encouraging the next generation and the emergence of new talent in the field of early music, this competition is open to instrumentalists aged 18 to 30 and singers aged 18 to 35. It is aimed at musicians playing period instruments and favouring a musical approach based on knowledge of historical performance.
