Since March 2024, Lyon’s baroque Chapelle de la Trinité, located in the heart of the city, has been under a new management and programming team. This new team has launched an ambitious effort to renew both audiences and artistic forms through a “desacralization” of the venue and through projects at the crossroads of baroque and other musical genres. An interview with its artistic director, conductor and harpsichordist Franck-Emmanuel Comte.

You took over as Artistic Director of the Chapelle de la Trinité in Lyon in March 2024. What is your relationship with this venue?
