The European Union Baroque Orchestra (EUBO) has announced that the deadline for applications for its 2026 session is 11 September. EUBO enables young musicians from across Europe who are completing their studies to gain initial experience in a professional orchestra, under the direction of renowned musicians.As such, EUBO awards them scholarships that allow them to take advantage of four artistic residencies and participate in the orchestra’s concert tour throughout Europe under the direction of renowned musicians. Scholarships are awarded following a selection process based exclusively on auditions, during which candidates must play and also express their motivations for participating in the project.
The next auditions to select the young musicians will take place from Thursday 9 to Saturday 11 October 2025 (inclusive) in Frankfurt, Germany, in partnership with the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst. The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday 11 September 2025, before midnight (Central European Time).
