Luxembourg’s leading baroque music festival, the Rencontres musicales de la vallée de l’Alzette, will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026. It will take place from 4 January to 29 March, with around ten concerts and internationally renowned artists, including Café Zimmermann with Nuria Rial (4 January), Ensemble Céladon with Paulin Bündgen and Clara Coutouly (1 March), Lautten Compagney Berlin (28 March) and La Chimera (29 March).
Since 2001, from January to the end of March, the Alzette Valley has become an international stage for early music. The festival offers its loyal audience a repertoire from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Baroque period. The festival is conceived and prepared by artistic director Rosch Mirkes.
