Christophe Rousset and Les Talens Lyriques in Innsbruck

At the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, audiences were treated a few days ago to the summer’s second Iphigénie: Traetta’s Iphigénie en Tauride. A genuine rediscovery and rarely performed, the work was presented twice by Les Talens Lyriques under Christophe Rousset, in a staging by Nicola Raab. This production will enjoy a second life in 2026 with the release of a recording on the Aparté label.

With Rocío Pérez, Alasdair Kent, Rafal Tomkiewicz, Suzanne Jerosme, Karolina Bengtsson et Les Talens lyriques and Christophe Rousset.

Apollo’s Cabinet touring Austria and Switzerland

A summer to remember for the English ensemble Apollo’s Cabinet, which toured the Austrian Vorarlberg and Switzerland. Their celebratory programme, marking the anniversary of King Frederick the Great, took them to Bregenz, Röns, Buchs, Feldkirch and Davos (pictured).

Gran Teatro del Mundo touring Madrid

Juan Caballero and his ensemble El Gran Teatro del Mundo are currently on tour across the Madrid region, supported by the National Institute for Performing Arts and the Community of Madrid. Rehearsals offered them the chance to perform Charpentier and Delalande on a grand historic organ, revealing a wealth of sound far beyond what a modern concert organ can provide.

A ReRenaissance weekend in Basel

From 26 to 28 September, the second edition of the Arcadia Festival will transform Basel into a veritable Renaissance paradise.
