→From February 4 to 28, French countertenor Rémy Brès-Feuillet travelled across Europe with the ensemble Il Pomo d’Oro, conducted by Francesco Corti, for a tour of Handel’s Giulio Cesare in Egitto, alongside, among others, Sabine Devieilhe and Jakub Józef Orliński. One month, ten cities, twelve concerts: a chronicle of an intense tour experienced from the inside.

Between Germany, Spain, and Poland, here is the second and final part of countertenor Rémy Brès-Feuillet’s diary devoted to the major European tour of Giulio Cesare in Egitto by Il Pomo d’Oro under the musical direction of Francesco Corti. Twelve concerts in ten European cities around a concert version of Handel’s masterpiece, with a prestigious cast including Sabine Devieilhe and Jakub Józef Orliński. A unique and captivating immersion into the behind-the-scenes and daily life of musicians on the road. In this final part: Hamburg, Barcelona, Oviedo, Madrid, Warsaw and Essen.
